If someone asked me wad are some of the finer things u enjoy in life.
Wad would your answer be?
For me i really really really enjoy truimphance. To reign supreme in a craft i do best. Really... the feeling of winning... its priceless beyond words. That doesn't imply that i detest losing, but if i were to win... that would be really great. That sense of euphoria...its intoxicating. Talking about losing, I don't want to sound superficial or such but truthfully it is through the losses that you learn in what ways were you inferior.
Anyway... There's another thing i really enjoy doing. Having a nice meal with people i feel good with. I mean its like obvious that having a meal with people i don't really like would in turn result in a food fight... but o well.... I mean picture this : Us sitting around enjoying the buffet and conversing in the things we enjoy talking about... may it be gossip...jokes...or crap... really! Its really fun!
Today was an outing with 2 close debating friends...
Went to swensens at suntec... deliberated on what to order... Was thinking about the breaded chicken meneuir but then a flashback of ShiLin Taiwan snacks' XXL chicken came to mind... and then ordered it... Couldn't really pronounce it... so it came out as breaded Chicken Manure... we all burst in peals of laughter... its was a comical scene really... after a bit of correction i placed that order... we drank and ate.
After that we decided to play pool in cineleisure. After checking out the prices there ourselves we thought that a movie was more economical. Watched Batman Begins
(Sorry Geraline...watching it twice). It was really Cool... the plot was there... but the combat scenes get a bit fuzzied for i dunnoe whos throwing the punches and stuff. I think Scarecrow is underrated... Ra's ah ghul according to the comic is supposed to be an immortal! Ah... o well... someone HAD to die...considering the show is 2 and a half hrs. After that we went our seperate ways home. It was fun.
Anyway... on the bus home i saw this guy snoozing on his seat. However his actions were hilarious. Picture this... an inverted pendulum. moving his head and upper body in tandem. Its a miracle he didn't hit anyone beside him wif his head.. HAHA! I stiffled a few laughs to prevent furthur embarrassment of the poor guy...O well.
I miss my tuition teacher...I miss his quirks, his intellect, his insight. Maybe i should call him out for a meal sometime soon.
